Finally!!  The jewelry line I've been working on is finally in swing after nearly an entire year of talking about it.  For the most part the collection is self titled because my creations are an expression of myself and influences around me.  Although, the name So Chica may be used interchangeably as there is an association of design and vintage resale in the shop.

The Harvest: The Radish

We've finally pulled up some of the radishes from the garden!  The Black Spanish Round and the White Globe are both very earthy and spicy.  Careful, they'll ruin your taste buds and burn the pit of an empty stomach.  I suggest eating these by themselves with some ranch!  Nonetheless, they are a beautiful plant.  I think I got more satisfaction from photographing than eating them. 

The First Harvest: One Cucumber

Our tiny little garden is finally coming along after struggling through those final hot months of summer.  Above are pictures from our first harvest, just one lonesome cucumber.  But this one cucumber was the best we've ever had. It was crisp, juicy, refreshing, and devoured in seconds.  The skin was one of the best parts.  Better than those wax covered cucs that have been hauled across the Mexican border.  All that time growing and so little time getting to our tummies made is worthy of photographing.  I wish I had more to share!
